Peter Rogerson reappointed to CITB-ConstructionSkills Board

The Minister for Skills has reappointed Peter Rogerson OBE, as Deputy Chairman, of CITB-ConstructionSkills.

Peter Rogerson brings a wealth of experience from the construction industry and the roofing sector specifically. He has been Deputy Chairman of CITB-ConstructionSkills for seven years and will continue to serve until 2009. Peter’s remit involves making decisions on the policies and priorities of the Industry Training Board – including how the Levy is spent.

Peter Rogerson will also continue to sit on the ConstructionSkills Council, the decision-making body responsible for determining the priorities of the Sector Skills Council.

The appointment was made by the Skills Minister at the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS), as the sponsoring department for CITB-ConstructionSkills and ConstructionSkills.

Sir Michael Latham, Chairman of ConstructionSkills, said: "Peter has brought a wealth of experience and contacts to the organisation and I look forward very much to continue to work with him."
