ConstructionSkills at the Thames Gateway Forum

ConstructionSkills is returning to the ExCeL Centre in London on 26 – 27 November to showcase the work it is doing in the Thames Gateway. One of the most demanding construction projects of the modern age, the Thames Gateway projects needs skills on an unprecedented scale.

Work on the Olympics represents just 3% of the work that is taking place in the Thames Gateway over the next six years. As the high performing Sector Skills Council for the Construction industry, this is a challenge that ConstructionSkills is rising to.

Working with the five Olympic boroughs and Thames Gateway across the whole spectrum of ConstructionSkills’ activity – from identifying the right projects for National Skills Academies, including the Olympics, to making sure that employers draw grant and have diverse workforces.

The Thames Gateway Forum event at ExCeL is the only event dedicated to bringing together the organisations involved in regenerating the Thames Gateway. This year the attention turns to delivery and how to turn the Thames Gateway vision into a reality.

ConstructionSkills will be hosting a stand at the event at location L46
