Entries for WISE Awards end Thursday 6/10/05

The WISE (Women into Science, Engineering and Construction) Annual Awards take place on 16 November 2005. The awards are given in recognition of companies and individuals who have actively addressed the issue of promoting science and engineering to young girls and women, and who have supported the aims of WISE. For the first year, entries from the construction industry are eligible.

You have until Thursday 6th October to submit your entry for one of the three awards described below. If you think that either you or someone you know would be suitable please fill in and return the application form.

The WISE Excellence Award

An annual award open to all women engineers, scientists and those working in construction who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to the profession and to the promotion of science and engineering to girls and women. The winner will receive a cheque for £1,000 and an engraved gift. Submit your entry.

The WISE Ambassador Award

An annual award for a company or organisation, from either England, Northern Irelands, Scotland or Wales, most supportive of WISE and the promotion of women in science, engineering and construction in their country. The representative of the company or organisation will receive an engraved clock. Complete your entry.

The Investor in WISE Award

An annual award for a national company or organisation most supportive of WISE and the promotion of women in science, engineering and construction in the UK. The representative of the company or organisation will receive an engraved clock. Complete your entry.
