Building Sustainability Awards

Building magazine 2006 Sustainability awards was hosted on 20 November at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London. The Sustainability awards scheme recognises and rewards those UK construction businesses at the forefront of sustainability best practice.

Involvement in the Awards will bring widespread industry recognition and could open the door to further work or commissions.

800 senior industry figureheads were invited along including chief executives or senior partners of all the leading contractors and consultancies, and the presidents of the main trade and professional bodies.

ConstructionSkills sponsored the following awards:

  • Sustainable Building of the Year for a single project/building - Large project, over £2m
  • Sustainable Building of the Year for a single project/building - Small project, under £2m
