Website Terms and Conditions

1. Using the Site (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Site’) is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Your access and use of this Site constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which takes effect from the date on which you use this Site.

We may at any time revise these Terms and Conditions without notice. Please check these each time you use the Site. Continued use of this Site will mean that you agree to any changes.

We allow you onto this Site in return for you agreeing not to adapt, alter or create any derivative work from any of the material contained in this Site.

You are not entitled (nor will you assist others) to set up links from your own websites to the Site (whether by hypertext linking, deep linking, framing, tagging or otherwise) without the prior written consent of ConstructionSkills, which we may at our absolute discretion, and without providing a reason, grant or withhold.

2. Intellectual property

The contents of the Site is protected by copyright, trademark rights, database rights, patent rights, design rights and any other text, graphic, audio, video or images, contents, software, data and information. You may imprint, copy, down load or temporarily save extracts from the Site only for your own personal information.

The names, images and logos identifying ConstructionSkills are registered trademarks. The copying and use, in any manner, of the ConstructionSkills logo, name or images is not permitted without prior written consent of ConstructionSkills. All other trade marks, brand names, product names and titles and copyright used on this Site are used under licence granted by their respective holders. No permission is given by ConstructionSkills in respect of the use of any of them and such use may constitute an infringement of the holder’s rights.

3. Your use of the Site

Use of the Site is at your sole risk. ConstructionSkills shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever arising as a result of your use of or reliance on the information contained on the Site to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Further ConstructionSkills will not be liable for :

Whilst ConstructionSkills makes all reasonable attempts to exclude viruses from the Site, it cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability is accepted for any loss, disruption or damage to our data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material off the Site. Thus, you are recommended to take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information from the Site.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute which may arise.
